I had an excellent experience at this hotel, with a warm welcome from the staff and beautiful views of the Outeniqua Mountain range. My room was spacious and clean, and I particularly enjoyed the outdoor BBQ during my stay. However, I did notice some areas that could use improvement, especially with cleanliness in the dining area and the overall maintenance of the property.
The experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. The location was far too remote, and it felt like the hotel hadn't been maintained properly over the years. The room had potential but was marred by cleanliness issues, and the lack of electricity added to the overall frustration. While the management was reasonable in addressing complaints, the value for money was definitely lacking.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. The presidential suite was stunning with fantastic views, and we had some great dining experiences across the different restaurants. The spa was impressive and offered excellent value for money. However, the hotel grounds could use some attention, particularly the gardens and overall maintenance.
